We offer a wide variety of Custom Glass & Glass Classes.
CLASSES (see Calendar schedule) STAINED GLASS CLASS Copper Foil Technique-Basic level Cost:$5o.oo plus tools and supplies, app. 150.00 4 classes at 3.5 hrs. ea. on thursdays from 6-9:30pm. New classes usually starting first Thursday of the Month or by appt. Some Sundays 11:00 to 2:30 Lead Technique-Medium level, Cost 50.00 plus supplies Basic glass knowledge required. Must be able to cut glass. 4 classes at 3 hrs. ea on Tuesdays from 6-9:pm.
Workshop-Come and learn more of what you don't know yet! 4 classes on tuesdays, 6-9:00 pm. WARM GLASS CLASS Beadmaking-Basic level, Starting your works with a torch and flames on glass, all glass and tools included. 1 class at 2.5 hrs. ea.+ Cost 120.00 Books not included but available and plan extra time for video.
Slumping-Basic level, Bending of glass, for that Dinnerware. Cost 150.00+glass 2 classes at 2.5 hrs ea. and 2 firings. Preparations and using of molds, also how to"Make your Own". Firing procedures. Helps to know how to fuse. Not required.
Painting on Glass-Beginning level, Cost 180.00 includes paint. 2 classes at 2.5 hrs ea. and 3 firings. Learn the mixing of paints, how to's of painting lines, Shading, and different levels of firing. Here we try to see what the old masters did in the "OLD STYLE"
HOT GLASS CLASSES
Fusing of Glass-Beginning+, Cost: 180.00 plus glass 2 classes at 3 hrs ea. and 2 firings. In this class we try to change the basic Idea of what you can do with glass. From making Jewelry to Tile to glass for that special Idea of your Own, Fusing is the next step to learning glass. Working with Compatible Glass and what that is, how to test and not have problems later, taking care of design in multi-layers for depth, these are all gone over in the class. Fusing Book 1 Recommended but not included. (like a bible to me)
Lampworking-Intermediate, Cost: 240.00 Learning glass included. 2 classes at 2.5 hrs. ea.-Beadmaking or previous torchwork required. Learn to use the different torches to Blow glass without a furnace- Using Borosilicate Glass, to make Wine glasses. with practice.
