This was a Repair I was called upon for the Elevator doors at the Hotel Oviatt in downtown Los Angeles. These were installed 2 wide and 3 high in crystal with Gold leaf backing when finished and installed as the Elevator doors themselfs.  They were 3/4" thick in areas and down to 1/8" in the design. It took more then 1 try...no comment. 

And then I was called back to fix many other jobs for them.
